Ronda R. Urkowitz is the Executive Director of Cross County Connection TMA and has been with the organization for the past 25 years. Cross County Connection is south Jersey’s designated Transportation Management Association, providing sustainable transportation planning services to local and county governments, employers and the general public.

Ms. Urkowitz has extensive experience with the design, implementation and funding of community shuttle systems. She has formed public/private partnerships to fund these shuttles and leads collaborative efforts to sustain them. The collaboratives include local and county governments, social services organizations, state agencies, and private sector businesses.

Cross County Connection currently provides technical and marketing assistance to shuttle services in Burlington, Atlantic and Gloucester counties. The shuttles in Atlantic and Gloucester counties are made possible through the generous support of the Pascale Sykes Foundation. These shuttles provide much needed transportation in rural areas, connecting with NJ TRANSIT bus and rail facilities and serving as last mile connectors to employment, social services, educational, medical and other destinations in the south Jersey region.

Ms. Urkowitz holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The George Washington University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a New Jersey-licensed Professional Planner.
