Pascale Sykes Foundation received the Community impact Award
On May 3, United Way of Gloucester County had its annual Volunteer Leadership Event, where it celebrated and acknowledged volunteers and those who make an impact in their community.
Fran Sykes, representing the Pascale Sykes Foundation, was awarded the Community Impact Award for its dedication to ensuring that families have access to resources and services necessary to be healthy and to thrive.
After transportation was identified as a pressing issue for families to be employed to achieve self-sufficiency, the Foundation sought to address this need within its mission to serve families. United Way of Gloucester County recognized that the Pureland East-West Community Shuttle would not have become a reality without the support of Fran Sykes and the Pascale Sykes Foundation.
