    Family Resource & Support Centers

Henry Street Settlement Neighborhood Resource Center
    Western Atlantic Parent-Family Support Network

Henry Street’s Neighborhood Resource Center and its Parent Center Program help low-income families on Manhattan’s Lower East Side cope with the everyday stressors of poverty by providing a comprehensive and holistic range of services. Our overall goal is to help build strong and caring families, support healthy parents and children, and enable families to achieve financial stability and self-sufficiency.

The vision for the Western Atlantic Parent-Family Support Network was born from the model of the National Family Success Centers, focusing on the concept that children thrive when they have two caring consistent adults in their lives. In partnership with community members, The Network promotes prevention focused activities which support parents and caregivers as leaders in strengthening their families.
