Ana joined Bigs & Littles NYC Mentoring in 2016 and in addition to managing a full caseload, Ana also supervises our Community Engagement Manager and manages the World of Work, our site based mentoring program. Previous to this position, Ana was the Family Engagement Manager at the youth development organization Harlem RBI and before that, was Associate Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.

Ana is originally from Ecuador, and attended Oberlin College for her undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies, then moved to New York and worked as a Volunteer Coordinator for the non-profit Learning Leaders, before receiving a Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Throughout her professional life, Ana has continued to enhance her skillset through specialized training in the areas of Immigrant Rights, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and College Access, most recently via Teachers College Online College Advising Program.
