Join Us For an Event on Public Transit and Equitable Economic Development on March 25th!
You are invited to an important meeting hosted by the Pascale Sykes Foundation to take a deeper look at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia study: Public Transit, Job Access, and Equitable Economic Development in Three Medium-Sized Regions—York County (PA), Scranton (PA), Atlantic County (NJ).
Finding and maintaining employment in southern New Jersey can be difficult for residents with no personal transportation. Access to viable transportation can help create economic equity in Atlantic County.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will present their findings and ideas on improving transit in Atlantic County. In addition, Pascale Sykes Foundation will present information about two Atlantic County community shuttles currently funded by the Foundation that connect residents to employment opportunities. All participants will be able to share ideas on how to improve transportation for the county.
Join your fellow colleagues from government, health, business, transportation and community to discuss current transportation and ways to improve services in Atlantic County.
